Alumnae Social Groups

The purpose of Alumnae Social Groups are to provide alumnae with socializing, philanthropic, and networking opportunities close to their home. While all alumnae are encouraged to join their Alumnae Chapter, they might have moved across the country from their undergraduate institution location, which is why we want to provide both the Alumnae Chapters and the Alumnae Social Groups. Many new graduates (and old!) miss the experiences of their undergraduate careers  that provided them with ample opportunities to network with their peers, socialize, and perform community service and philanthropic activities. In the "real world" those opportunities don't come up as much, so Alpha Omega Epsilon would like to enhance those aspects of your life outside of your undergraduate careers.

Calling all current Alumnae Social Groups out there!

If there are any Alumnae Social Groups (a group of 2 or more alumnae meeting and doing something together in a fairly close geographic area) already formed but not official and you would like to welcome others into your group, please email the IEB ARO at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it and list the members of your group, what area of the country you are in, what activities you do, and how often you meet. This way at the international level, we can encourage others in your area to join you and to increase your networking potential.

Need For Volunteers: Alumnae Regional Planners

We are also looking for Alumnae Regional Planners who will help coordinate the different areas of the US and Canada and act similar to the Regional Advisors to the undergraduate chapters. These ARPs will be the point of contact for anyone new to the area and will help newly moved alumnae reach other alumnae in the area, trying to develop as many Alumnae Social Groups as possible. They will also be the point of contact for all the current Alumnae Social Groups in their area of the country to help brainstorm activities or address any problems these groups might be facing. If you are interested in volunteering to be an Alumnae Regional Planner, please email the IEB ARO at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it expressing your interest in volunteering and what area of the country you currently reside.

ARPs will be assigned in the following areas: Pacific NW, Mountain, Midwest, North East, Mid Atlantic, South East, South, and Pacific SW. See the map below to find your region.
