Volunteer of the Year 2010
Volunteering is a large part of Alpha Omega Epsilon and the Sorority would not exist without the help from its members. The 2010 Volunteer of the Year is Allison Baskin from the Phi Chapter. Allison has been a great asset and member of The Angle magazine committee. Her dedication to delivering on her commitments and her energy have made the magazine a success. She has brought a fresh perspective to the design and layout of the magazine and has helped the Sorority grow. Alpha Omega Epsilon extends a big thanks to Allison for all her hard work!
Website Award - Alpha Chapter
The Alpha Omega Epsilon Website Award is bestowed upon the Chapter whose website best represents the professionalism and information exchange that the Sorority strives for. The criteria used in determining the winner include organization, ease of navigation, useful and up-to-date information, professionalism, spelling/grammar, history, etc. The 2010 Website Award was presented to the Alpha Chapter from Marquette University. Newsletter Award - Beta Chapter
The Alpha Omega Epsilon Newsletter Award is bestowed upon the Chapter whose newsletter best represents the professionalism and information exchange that the Sorority strives for. The criteria used in determining the winner include layout/design, content, relevance of articles to the Sorority, chapter alumnae, etc. The 2010 Newsletter Award was presented to the Beta Chapter from the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology.
On Target Awards:
The following awards are based on the On Target Report submitted by each Chapter. The On Target Report collects a variety of criteria including Chapter events, active member totals and service hours. On Target 2010
Awarded to the Beta Chapter from the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology. The Chapter had a total score of 665 / 710. Way to go Chapter!
Rookie On Target 2010
This award is available for Chapters that are less than 2 years old. For 2010, it was granted to the Psi Chapter from Binghamton University. The Chapter had a total score of 565/710
Most Improved On Target 2010
The Upsilon Chapter from the University of Maryland was awarded as being the most improved Chapter based on the On Target scores. The Chapter had a score improvement from 2009 - 2010 of +105. Great job ladies!
Scholastic Achievement 2010
The Epsilon Chapter from the University of Southern California had the highest grade point average and was awarded for their scholastic accomplishments. Keep up the good work!
Service Award 2010
This award was presented to the Delta Chapter from the Milwaukee School of Engineering for providing the most number of service hours per member. This goes to show how dedicated Alpha Omega Epsilon sisters are to volunteering and growing our community.
Professional Award 2010
Professionalism is a large part of Alpha Omega Epsilon and the Nu Chapter from the University of Delaware had the highest professional score. The professional score is calculated based on number of events as well as the number of people attending the events vs. total Chapter size.
